An unassuming piece of furniture moving equipment - but definitely one of the most needed for house moves, and furniture and appliance moves in general. Produced in house at our factory in Lancashire - you are buying direct from source. We use hard, durable Polypropylene to make all our furniture sliders - sometimes known as furniture gliders.
Our sliders eliminate friction between the furniture or appliance, and in turn protect the floor. They make moving large items incredibly easy and in turn protects both you as well as the floors surface.
Directions of use:
Place slider under each leg or side of furniture you are trying to move. Let the weight of the furniture sit on the sliders - now slide the slider and your furniture, wherever you want to move them to.

I ordered a large slider for my washing machine. When it arrived I wasn't sure if it had a top side or underside. One side had writing on it the other didn't. I eventually put the side with the wording upwards. WHY? Because companies like to display their wears. Didn't find it that easy to move the machine but it did serve a purpose. Last, if you need to cut it to size use a hand saw as the jig saw blade just melted the plastic.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and some feedback. The sliders are always sent with the film that protects the plastic sheet in place, this is the wording that you mentioned. This film can be removed and is simply there to be sure that the sliders arrive to you in perfect condition. There is generally a sticker on the outer packaging advising that you are able to remove that before use, it can help with the glide :). As you say, these sliders absolutely serve a purpose and protect your floors from damage just as much as making it easier to move the appliance.
